Havn't been fishing in a while and wanted to go run the boat. But I thought I read something about a big tournament out there. How many boats are gonna be out there?

Media is out there tomorrow. I would guess about 25-30 boats. It's been slow lately so don't get your hopes up.

Cool thanks. Yeah I wasn't going to expect anything. I haven't been on the water in a little over a month. So I was just gonna go enjoy being out there in this weather and hope for a bite. But with 30 boats (which ain't to bad) I might try Arlington for the first time.

Anyone know when and where the weigh in is? Might think about taking the boy.

Oh man, that's where I normally launch. Glad I asked before I just strolled in, ready to fish. I would have thought it would be at Lynn Creek like everything else. Thanks for the info!

I was there one time after one of these started. Needless to say, I did not know they were coming, when all of a sudden all heck broke loose. I heard the roaring of the outboards first then about 20 boats heading in my direction eeks But I must say, they were the most curious bunch of tourney fishermen. About 5 boats ended up in the cove I was fishing in, but no one was stepping over the other person's line or nothing. Although I must say, I saw one of of them catch a nice over right behind me and another guy. And I do mean NICE, that fat girl looked like she was ready to pop.

Joe Pool is a muddy mess. Water 55 degrees. Don't waste your time.

Was out on Pool today mainly to run the motor some & it's still ugly out there - 51 degrees main lake near the dam & muddy. Went all the way back in Lynn Creek & found 61 degree water but it was chocolate milk. Yuck!
