Hey guys, I'm a seminary student in Fort Worth that just started working for a church in the N. Cleburne/Joshua area. I have a small pond on some land that I have access too, but I'd like to get out and do some fishing pretty soon. I have access to a good bass boat and Spring Break is coming up. I'm looking for some information on either Cleburne Lake or possibly Whitney. I've never fished either, so any and all information is welcomed.

Thanks in advance!

Cameron

Cameron, hit the Nolan River for the white bass run. Park at the bridge at Rock Creek, south of Blum, and follow the creek in. Stay off the private property. Take a stringer, and hold on. When your arm recovers, fish the Brazos below Whitney. God bless, and good luck!

Don't leave out alvorado it's a great lake so is cleburne if you go to cleburne be careful goint towards the 67 bridge it's a stump field.your best bet since the weather has been so good this week is to head across from the boat ramp there is a flat that is about 5 ft deep try a red trap. We fished alvorado last Sunday also and didn catch anything but the water temp was in the low 40s I'm sure it's came up some alvorado is small but the whole right side of the lake "standing at the ramp looking at the lake" is shallow the opposite side is were the dam is and also a rock bank and nice point it also has alot of boat docks. Good luck u can pm me or bassguy1986 for more info he can give you better details then I can
