Well believe it or not i actually caught a fish today out of the lake. The water is heating up and the fish are moving up. I saw the warmest water temps today since last year. Give it another 10 days and its gonna be a toad fest! Hope yall enjoy. She was about to burst her belly was so full. sure does make for some good eatin!

Nice fish, it was still tough out there today but I might be the one you were talking about on the 9# fish, she actually weighed 8.10. I caught her on a road bed in about 8 foot of water on the north end. Water temp was 47 where I was fishing. The temp was 50 in Indian but no action yet. I will post a picture tomorrow, I was by myself so it was knda hard to take a really god pic but it work.

Thought I'd post o question for those of you that fish Ray Roberts.
Last September me and some friends were fishing Ray Roberts at the Johnson Branch park. When we woke up in the morning there was a sand bass run in the shallows right off the point. Between the three of us we got about twelve sandies in fifteen minutes.
Is this normal for that location and if so during what times usually?
Thanks.

Thanks. That lake is full of sandbass. If you have a boat im fairly certain any time of the year you could get your limit. That sounds pretty crazy to do it at night though. sweet story!
