So ive been using a new reel with fluorocarbon line and its been giving me a bit of a hard time, so i picked up some conditioner. And this stuff is AMAZING guys. Not only did i not get any backlashes anymore but i got a lot more distance on my cast. Just wanted to let you guys know about this product. But remember to let it dry for the best performance

This is the best line conditioner. What I do is put it on the night before I go fishing. It does not have to be dry to get the best results though. You can apply it as you are fishing.
While we are on the subject, as you guys store your line during winter and times you are not fishing you ought to apply conditioner to keep your line lubricated.

The instructions say wet the line well the 1st time you use it and let it dry overnight. Then use it each time before you go fishing.

My only concern with KVDLC is that on fluorocarbon line that it will alter the observability of the line in an undesirable way. This concern is greatest in waters of high clarity, but is likely of negligible impact on line observability in more turbid waters.
A second point is that the stiffness of fluorocarbon lines is in fact a feature in terms of line sensitivity. While a more flexible line is desirable in terms of handling, especially casting. However, presentation of a bait is a separate issue. A stiff fluorocarbon line can increase the sensitivity for the bite, or strike on a lure, especially a soft plastic, or jig.
Thirdly, the hardness, or softness of a line plays a significant role in the ability of a line to resist abrasion, and general toughness of a line when fighting a fish. For this reason Im more than a bit reticent to use a line conditioner on fluorocarbon line that Ill be using to fish in brushy, or obstacle laden environs.
In general I prefer a hard and stiff line when pitching, or when fishing waters that are not at least fairly open. OTOH, I do use KVDLC on all my spinning reels regardless of the line that is spooled on them. In the case of spinning gear the limpness of the line is paramount in being able to cast. Stiff line on spinning gear is particularly egregious.

Beenn using it about 3 years on all lines and like what happens with it. People complain about stiff fluoro lines like Vicious, little KVD Line & Lure solves it. I haven't noticed additional abrasion, but check my line occasionally and retie if needed.

I use flouro. coated with L&L all the time in very clear water and have not noticed anything that would suggest it is impacting line visibility. L&L is a water based polymer and actually bonds to your line. This coating can only be removed by friction and will actually wear before your line does. Obviously,it won't stop abrasion from underwater obstacles, but it will help that expensive flouro. last longer from normal wear. To obtain the most benefit, put it on the night before and then use it during the day as needed.

I never spool up without it. I use it before and after a trip. Best stuff I have tried by far.

It works on all types of line. It will not adversely affect the performance of the line at all.
