Hey guys,
My father-in-law is coming into town on March 14. What lake will be my best bet to catch crappie? I don't normally fish for crappie, so any help will be appreciated. I plan to try to go out on saturday or sunday to get some practice in. Thanks for any help or advice.

There ain't one, lol. Medina supposedly has some in the back of the bays but I don't know which ones. I don't know of anywhere else close by. How far are you willing to go? Maybe up at Lake Dunlap, too. I read somebody pulled a 2.3 pounder out of there recently.

I figured Choke Canyon may be the closest lake with them in it. That sucks. Well I may be bluegill and bass fishing. Or trying to catch some white bass. Thanks guys..
