I take the pointy end of my fishing scissors and twist them through the pork where I want to put the hook through. This makes a hole in the bait that allows it to come off the hook very easily. It also allows the bait to flow more naturally through the water.

you turn it upside down with regards to where the barb is and pull down then out..... not sure my instructions make sense but thats what you do.

if you do it right you dont need scissors

There is an easy way to take pork off.I showed it on "Day on the Water'.If you can take a look at it you may want to try it.

Put the jig in your hand hook up and barb towards you.Take the pork in one hand and rotate it around the hook so its tail is towards you.Turn the jig back to upside down.Push the shank of the hook downward against the pork in the palm of your hand.Push the pork off from the backside.

I hope I have described this accurately. Check out the video.
