Care to share?

I've found a few ponds just off I10@HWY6 and Eldridge, and I've been to Langham Creek.

Do you have a GPS? Driving up and down I-10 and HWY6 shows water on every side, up to Champions and down to Sugarland and from Sealy almost to Memorial. I still haven't tried them all and am nowhere near close. You could play on google maps for a while too if you want to poke around. Cinco Ranch has lots of water with public access. Try across from La Centerra, plenty of bass. Bear creek has carp you can fight all day. Mary Jo Peckham is a stocked pond and should be getting the last of their rainbow trout in for the year right about now. There's a few bass and catfish in there as well. Driving down HWY 6 toward Sugarland has a couple parks on the right. I keep seeing people walking over to Barkers Reservoir with poles but I didn't even know you could fish back there.

Thanks, I'll try to find somewhere around La Centerra this week. Did you mean the La Centerra lakes, or across Grand Parkway?

Also, my phone is basically a GPS, so yes to that question. It has helped me find water before.

The actual La Centerra strip center. Acrosss from it is this professional building with water and a couple waterfalls. It's a pretty sizeable pond. There will probably be others there as it isn't much of a secret any more but fishing is encouraged. I think I was in my wife's doctor's office when I saw my fishing spot in the Katy lifestyle magazine. If you have a friend in Cinco Ranch, their water canals and man-mades are stocked pretty well. Hell, I'm trying to find a house out there just for that reason.

I don't know for sure but I have been told Brazos Bend has grass carp in there.

If you're going to Brazos Bend, fish for largemouth. Nice fish in there.

Where have you fished in Brazos Bend and what have you caught? I've never had any luck there.

Son and I fished Elm Lake several years ago and used to do pretty good. It's got several fising piers along the trail. The lake started getting overgrown with weeds and snot that we couldn't really fish it anymore. Haven't been out there in 4 or 5 years. You could probably go this time of year before the grass starts growing.

We never caught anything big, 2 lbs was about the biggest. They have some pictures of nice fish caught by some folks.

Just watch out for the gators. They're annoying when your trying to fish.

Yeah, I have fished there just never caught anything. After multiple times of going. It pisses me off because I know that people catch fish in there
