Hey Guys, Here's the senario my kids and I were out on Eagle at about 9:00am saturday. We hit the humps (Twin Points), the flats around Pelican, and a couple of other places through out. The kids were saying they can feel a bunch of Bump,Bump,Bump but no takers. Then Later about 7:45pm we went back out to basiclly the same places and the same thing. What gives?? My graph shows them being all over under us and also some were at the bottom, but they were mainly scattered.Should I be trolling only at this time of the year maybe?? Is there a better lure to use at this time?? Technique??? Or will it just get a lot better in the fall when it cools off??? Just trying to get get kiddo's in a mess of fish.

Lots of small fish, right now. Trolling will usually catch larger fish. You can catch them in some of the schools of small fish, but mostly they will be with other big fish, so if you find 1 bigger fish you will probably find several in that school. It's just a matter of hunting down the right schools and staying with them. Good luck.
