im goin out there sat. the water may still be cold but it should be nice outside and if the sand bass arent bitin hopefully ill catch some crappie or bass. yea anything small and with a spinner on it will probably do good.

I bet you won't be the only one there if the sun shines now'It shouldn't be to long with the water still risingbefore the main run takes place

Hey fellas,

Me and my fishing buddy will be at the Tram and probably up and down the Angelina on Sunday.

We fished it all last year and the year before that... It is absolutely horrid and no one else should go... Ok j/k, but really if you do not have a flat bottom or bass buster GOOD LUCK. It is almost impossible to bank fish this river.

If anyone wants to join us for a beer or two Sunday afternoon feel free to let me know via PM, we will be in a 2 man white/brown Bass Buster with a ol trolling motor.

Rat-l-traps and crankbaits are the best that I have found out there, Catfish are slamming right now as well, if you are interested bring chicken livers.

NOTE:
There is a TON of excess brush floating around from all the dang rain this year so BE PREPARED. Bring your life jackets and be safe.

Od~

Lol...

You know when we went to the Tram and to Shawnee last year we did not have any problems pulling in some larger fish, are you from bank or boat?

We like to get right up on the edge of trees when the river is up. I will post my results.
