Ok, I cant lie, we caught 14 on Sunday in 2 hours. 13males, 1 female. It seemed everyone fishing from the bank were not doing to swell. We were in the water, shallow water throwing spoons. We threw a lot of other jigs and didnt get a single bite on them. The spoons were the only productive lure we had.

table spoons. No, I second the spoons . I just started using them last year with much success, but I would still hang on to all the old favorites.

I've got some of those Tony Acetta's? spoons with the white dressing on them. Would those work ok? They are the silver ones.

Do grey jigs normally work out there? Ive never tried them. I have only tried white and chartruesse out there.

Spoons we used were homemade. Just a silver and handpainted orange homemade spoons.

Same here! Where the creek comes in on that side. I was in the water in a pond prowler.

Going out to Bend on saturday, I have been catching them on rooster tails the past couple of years, white and silver, and some on black. Would these be as good as spoons?

You can't use the boat ramp. It is almost out of water.

One of my neighbors went to the state park Sunday and caught 27, mostly on white or red/white tubes and grubs. I think I'm going to go out there for a couple hours tomorrow and give it a try.
