Fish started biting immediately at 7:00am and continued through out the morning. Birds were working numerous places. Had a limit of hybrids, 45 mondo sandbass and 3 crappie by 11:00am. That does not count the fish we threw back. Pictured L to R is Mike and Thomas from N. Richland Hills. Awesome day. Still have openings tomorrow.

Went to Bp last friday. Caught about 34 sandbass but could never get on the the Hybrids. I am up front running the trolling motor and fishing when I look back at my nephew. What a shock!!! Mike Acosta look alike is in the back of the boat.Two Zebcos at once. See ya back at BP soon.

Now try four at once. Many time when trying to get the right color, I will work 3 or 4 rods simultaneously. Two in each hand. When a fish bites, it can be tough to get rid of the other three without loosing the one fish on. You want to set the hook when the fish bites. If you get two on at the same time (and this has happened many times, you have to let one swim while you reel in the other. As long as the fish are biting, bring it on.

Pretty soon it will be back to live bait with the warming water (most of the time). You can sit them rods in the rod holders

I have not owned a 33 since I was a kid. We used to spool it with 20 lb test and catch huge carp. They did not last too long on those fish.
