I'd like to see pics of the Top 20 Catfish caught "in" Texas. You don't have to be the one who caught it to post the pic. I'll let a week or two, three go by before I start posting the Top 20.

I bet that we could confirm the top 20 blue cats as all being on Texoma not all caught on the Texas side but the same water body.

I see where that could cause some confusion. Just out of curiosity. Where would be the range be for the top 20? Most over 100 lbs. I would guess?

The only blues In texas I am aware of that have went triple digit have been caught on Texoma. I beleive there are a few flats over a hundred out there. T-wok will break triple digits in the next 2 years. Jarod's record will not make thru next year. The old record would have been broken numerous times this year.

Needle in a haystack, gonna be tough to get pictures and specifics for this. I'd like to see it though, but I agree, alot of this is gonna come from Texoma.
I think the range would be 80 and above.
Nevermind I reread and saw by any legal means, losts of flatties over a hundred coming off of trotlines.

Just a few from TPWD waterbody records: Livingston B-116 FH-114 Fork FH-100 B-89 Tawakoni FH-110.5 B-86.6 Limestone FH-98 Lewisvill FH-98 Palestine FH-99.5 Conroe B-99 FH-86 SamRayburn FH-84 B-83.5 Toledo Bend FH-97.5 B-84 Ray Hub. FH-94 Thast's just a few of the fish, lots of fish are caught and never have records applied for. I saw photo of a 112 flathead out of Limestone in local papers. I also have seen photo of one that weighed 110 out of Cedar Creek.

Tim I have to disagree with the record not making it out of the year. Not because I caught it , but when. That fish was caught during the shad die off while the blues were gorging themselves. If you will notice there are alot of 70's being caught, but this one has 3.7lbs on them. Probably a 70lber any other time of year, but put on a few pounds during the feast. I think it will broke next year, but not until. Just my thoughts.
I will post a pic of the 102 I caught at texoma tomorrow.

I will post a pic of the 102 I caught at texoma tomorrow. I said thru next year so we agree on that. To many good ones close this year. But who knows it could hold on for several years but the trot line record is 84 so there is already bigger ones in there. I do not mean that in a bad way I am just saying T-wok is that good. Please do no take it wrong. I can not wait to see the 102.

Right now they have it at 110. If you know someone who caught the larger one and weighed it on certified scales with witnesses and photo's you might have them submit it and see if they can get it changed.

The largest Blue ever taken by any method was in a net. It was caught in Whiskey Bay, Louisiana and it weighed 128 lbs. I currently have the IGF 12 lb line class record in Louisiana at 73lbs, I caught that fish July 24, 1999 at Lock#5 on the Red River. The reason I mentioned it, was at the time I caught that Blue it was only 2 lbs away from being a world record for 12 lb test which was 75lbs. The explosion of big Blues since then has been nothing short of amazing. To give you and example, the 12 lb world record for Blues now is 101 lbs, and that may have changed since I last looked at it.

Records and big fish are great, but if you dwell on them it will make fishing a lot less fun. Not that many triple digit fish are caught, in all honesty very rare.
