I just picked up 2 at BPS. They are designed for super lines.

I'll be coupling them with Curado E7's with braid and using for frog and buzzbaits and other fast movers in the slop.

The ones I bought were 6 footers because we get in some tight spots.

Any info appreciated.

I'm lined up with some PP 65# and hope to put them to the test this weekend.

I have a couple. Both MH and they are pretty darn stout. Feel more like heavy actions. And that was the 6'6". I amagine the 6' feel like broom handles! Might just work well for what your wanting to use them for.

I could not believe how light they are for the application.

I have had one for a close to a year now...Love it for the price. It has taken a beating. Very light compared to other rods in the price range.

For 50 bucks the only comparable rod out there is the American Rodsmiths apex titanium from academy.

They are great lite rods for the money!

One you build and fish with your own hand built custom rod you will fish with nothing else!

I held one of the new Shimano Voltaic rods beside the shock and the volt felt like a brick.

The action on these rods is a little stiffer than other rods of the same action but are ideal for what has been described. You will like them I'm sure!
