Well guys, finally my old job back and I'll start for the City of Saginaw Monday the 8th! Sure does beat the he'll out of what I'm doing now and I'll have weekends off!! More time to fish!

My current job is a PM tech contracted for halliburtons frac equipment, the money is nice, 70+ hours a week, but I'm tired of not having a home life and doin the things I want to do outside of work. I have always said if you have to work for a living, you might as well do something that you enjoy. Working for the city again I'll be operating heavy machinery and doing miscellaneous stuff around the town. I can't wait, plus, everyone there is waiting for me to come back. I am glad the 3 years I worked prior have paid off and they were more than willing to accept my return.

Yeah, after doing this for a year and a half, going back to 8-5 Monday-Friday sure is going to be weird, but I have a feeling I will get used to it pretty fast. I haven't been able to fish in over a month now much less take care of anything outside of work. Money sure is nice, but money isn't everything.

thats the way i feel about 2 weeks notice.they dont give you 2 weeks before they get rid of you.in my business if you give 2 weeks,your usually gone the same day.good for you man f'em.
