literally any creek or river above a lake with a good sandbass population will be choked with em right now..theyre in every tributary in the metro..literally. google places to fish along the trinity for starters..depending on where u are at and want to fish. you shouldnt have to look far for them right now. whats the closest lake to you?

The closest lake to me is Lake Bachman, then white rock lake too

Bachman has no sand bass but is loaded with quality crappie and trophy sized black bass.

For sandies in the city, see my thread "found in the middle of the city". That is white rock creek up by royal oaks country club on Greenville avenue.

Steep banks but accessible, and loaded with sandies, crappie, black bass, and channel cat.

It is south of I-20. It is actually walnut creek. there is another creek north of walnut creek inside of loyd park that will start producing limits of crappie when the water warms a bit.
