I am coming out to Fork for the first time, spending two days with a guide and I want to bring something from back east that my guide may not be able to get out it Texas...Looking for ideas?? Can you guys get Tastykakes out your way? Trying to find a nice way to show my appreciation for taking me fishing....

This is Texas...we can get anything we can think of here.
Where there is a will theres a way.
But if you can get some Black Cod (butterfish) he would probally enjoy that,
It is hard to get here.

I think $250 a day or so is showing some appreciation. LOL. I would say Lobster too.

Bring him a 30 pack, sure you can get this in Texas, but he lives in a dry county and he has to drive 30 minutes out of the way to get some good beverage. We stayed in his lodging on year and we picked him up one while we drove to the wet county to get it.

Perhaps you can bring him an "eastern" beer. Be sure its strong though, those boys in Texas can put em down.
