You might try Mark Maclamera (I think) or JD Lyle on Lake Texoma. I've always heard good thing abouth them.

You can never go wrong with Luck-O-The-Irish aka Leprechaun on this forum. Or Guaranteed Guide Service (nofishnocharge.com) I have been out with both on numerous occassions and both are not only great guides but have awesome personalities and will make the trip very worthwhile. Will be fishing this weekend with Cory of Guaranteed Guide, and we have had three other trips this year and all have been extremely productive producing limits plus with nothing less than 4-5 lbs. I personally brought in one over 11 lbs and we have had many 10+ers in the boat.
Omar aka Lep, is a man about lakes and can fill you in on what is happening on Cedar Creek and Tawakoni. Have fished both with him as well and brought in lots of good size fish as well.
Let us know how it goes!

No where can you catch the numbers that are on Texoma... Were catching 30-60 fish per day all on top water lures.

For numbers you can't beat Texoma......
I was a striper fisherman back in the good ole days of Texoma (Early 80's).

Sounda like JD would be the MAN for TEXOMA...anybody got any suggestions that are a little closer to DFW? Looking for a lake that I would be able to go to on a regular basis and I think Texoma may be a bit too far for me...
I'm seeing these as being close enough: Ray Hubbard Lavon Lewisville Grapevine Mountain Creek Joe Pool Eagle Mountain Benbrook

To my knowledge only Hubbard and Lewisville have hybrids.... Maybe eagle mt.. (not sure) On Hubbard call John Varner On lewisville call Trent Barnes or Don (the angler) Gatlin But I gotta tell ya... Ive spoiled many many guys from the DFW area and have made them think that 90 minute drive aint too bad
