Threw a chugbug, redfin, and a pencil poppers on windblown points on the south end from about 5:45 to 8 am Sunday morning. Fished didn't turn on until about 6:30, but when they did it was ON! Caught and successfully released two 27", one 25" and another 5 five all over 20". All topwater fish put up really strong fight compared to other times of the year and the secret seemed to pause your bait after working it for a couple of seconds. Lots more hits than hook-ups, but it's fun to see those fish attacking a bait even if doesn't translate to a hook-up.

Baitfishing was fair after that, but the wind was annoying so we called it a day at about 10:30. Kind of anti-climatic after the topwater...
