Units started shipping last Thursday to Bass Pro and Cabelas. Other orders are shipping as well.

That's what I thought I had heard and just wanted to confirm. The dealer and repair shop that I'm dealing with has told me that HB is telling them the units will ship by March 15th. That was yesterday. I've had one on order through them for several weeks now.

Their website says the 998 is in stock. I do not know about store specifics. I guess a phone call will be in order.

I put in an order for a 898 yesterday with a local dealer who said his distributor could get it to him in a couple of days. We'll see how long it actually takes.
