The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. ~John Buchan

James loves fishing so much, you usually have to tell him it's time to go. Definetly not a clock watcher if ya know what i mean.

I've had many 15 hour days with James. I always bring about 8 sandwiches so we don't have to quit to eat!

Have a date set up with James Henderson on March 11th. It will be my first time to fork and a first time with a guide. I can't wait. It's nice to hear all the good things about him when other people haven't always had the best experiences with other guides.

James Henderson is a great guide to fish with. I got the privilege of going out with him back May of 08. Never have I fished for 12 hours and had so much fun. Only reason we even stopped was do to hand cramps on my part. Yes I couldn't reel or cast anymore without discomfort in my hands. Needless to say I had a blast fishing with him and also got my PB with him as well. I had him worried cause the only thing I ate all day was some crackers with cheese lol. Finally I ate one of his candy bars so he wouldn't worry anymore lol. Great time with James for sure, was like a long time fishing buddy.

That's good to hear. I'm the same way when I fish. I forget to eat. I told him I know it will be pre-spawn techniques but I still wanted to learn some deep water techniques and reading electronics, locating bass, etc. and he said no problem at all. Looking forwared to it.

Howdy all!
New to the board as I live in Delaware...but I'm comming out to Fork for the first time on March 15th...
Reading over all the post on the thread and just wondering why I haven't seen anyone suggest Rick Loomis? He will be my guide for two days on my first trip to Fork. He has been great with sharing info since booking my trip, just wondering if anyone has any experience with Rick they would be willing to share??

Thnaks,

Bill
