Anybody out there have any experience with Sandies fishing in the Creeks of Lavon during the spawn? It seems that people tear it up on Rowlett Creek with the fish coming up from Hubbard. Do the creeks on Lavon produce similar results?

most likely they do, u just have to find them. only thing i can say is go to rowlett creek. i havent ever fished in any creeks comin from lavon. i know that behind the dam is always a good spot. they release water and fish fall over the dam! you can tear them up there sometimes. other than that, rowlett creek is about your best option. also depends on where you live.

if there is a creek, there are fish in them! just gotta fins them

go check out the trinity river above lavon.. theres a bridge there at lowry crossing. less crowds and more of a river than a crowded little beat down creek

Thanks for the tip. I saw that on Google maps today, and was going to scout it out this weekend.

I've often wondered also if a man could drop a boat in either lake (Hubbard or Lavon) and maneuver up the creeks to catch Sandies.
