I don't know if it will help any but I'm emailing Paul a contact that MIGHT be able to help him out. He needs to post his Resume on Monster.com and open it to the public. There are "Headhunters" that work in many of the Professional Fields and constantly scour Monster for qualified people their Clients are looking for. I get calls or emails atleast once a week on new job opportunities (I am happily and luckily currently employed though). Not that I'm looking to make any kind of move at all, but it's always good to be in the loop.

I wish them luck; as I know that must be a really tough situation to be in.

Monster and Careerbuilders.com are I believe two good places to start. I believe there is a Gov. jobs website called JobsUSA or something like that for civil service jobs and things like that. I wish I could help more but I would have thought the Metromess would have many companys looking for that kind of talent. If I hear of anything in the field I will most certainly let you know about it. I wish him the best of luck. Times are tough right now but Texas is luckier than most states when it comes to the economy. I think there are probably many companys that arent posting positions because of the incredible amount of responces that they would have to go through so networking will probably be the best way. Tough position to be in.

But,his story seems very odd to say the least. I seem to find jobs that he could do every couple weeks. Sometimes multiples in week.

My company is always interested in seeing an engineer's resume, so I'll pm you and get you my email address. Obviously I can't promise anything, but we'd sure be willing to get a look.
