 OT: Best catfish while carp fishing?

With picture or it's "just a story" lol.
Some of you "Carpmasters" wouldn't dare or care to take a picture of your catfish catches or maybe even admit the cat gave a great fight, I couldn't disagree more. My roots are in catfishing and I've been known to switch a boilie for a shrimp or crawler while carpfishing. How bout you?
Even though I've been focusing on carp the last few years, the cats are still calling.

The cats are calling me Sunday. My PB Blue while carping is 17 lbs. My PB blue on a boilie is 33lbs, however I was catfishing at the time.

I caught a white bass while reeling in my carp bait once. Was fishing straight down from a dock in about 30 ft of water.

caught a small 8 lb blue carping
also 2 lmbs in one day at lynne creek marina while carping
PB Common = 36-8
PB Buffalo = 62-8
PB Mirror (fully scaled) 13-0
PB Flat Head Catfish = 44

24lb blue from town lake, it didn't fight it rolled all the way in on top..... -1

I've had carp do the same thing when using my surf fishing gear and 90 Okumas. No fight at all when your gear is overkill. Hehe

Yep I was catfishing with a boilie. The flavor is not coming to mind at the momment, I will check when I get home. I still use them all the time on my jugs. Two 10mm on the hair stay on the jugs all day, not as good as the fresh shad, but better than the punch bait.

My best Catfish while Carping was NO Catfish.
My largest... I've had several 10# Blues and Channels, and a 12# Blue.

From back in IL, caught on May 4, 2008, which would have been my brother's 40th birthday.  28 lbs flathead, caught on SWEET CORN!! And on the retrieve!! Thought for sure I had snagged it until I got it in and it was hooked inside the mouth! Still the biggest fish I've ever caught; hopefully that will change this year. And by far the most intense fight I've ever experienced. Far and away outfought any of my 20 lb. carp.
