Robert Roles of Del Rio, Texas caught Toyota ShareLunker 479, a 13.5 pound bass from Lake Amistad on Sunday. The fish was caught on a pearl ayu 1 ounce Amistad Tackle Hawg-N flutter spoon in 30 feet of water in Evans Creek. Robert was fishing with his nephew Clint Robertson in a three fish tournament. With the 13 pounder they also weighed an eight pounder for a three fish stringer weighing 26.24 pounds and second place. See pictures of the ShareLunker and the Hawg-N spoon at www.amistadtackle.com.

Enough said. The picture says it all. I think the fish liked the spoon.

Well I wasn't trying to hurt anyones Feelings or make anyone mad but seeing as you are already riled up I will say this.

I know sometimes we as fishermen (myself included) catch a few good fish and tell other fishermen we caught it on something else to try to throw them off our little secret.(I know, that never happens)

Aggie I am sure you know Exactly what it was caught on.(because you were there) Before this post came out it was being posted on some other chat rooms that it was caught on an Oldham jig and a Craw trailer. because that is what some folks were told when yall brought it to the sharelunker station according to the other chat rooms.

That is why I brought this up. I am sure there are others that have read the same thing.
I dont care one way or the other what it was caught on.

Congrats to Robert on his ShareLunker, That is a really nice fish.

It is dissapointing to catch 26lbs and not win, but it was a 2 day tournament and we were in 16th place after day one with 11.80lbs. The winners had 16lbs after day one (23lbs was leading) and also came in with a 26lb bag on day two. The team with 23lbs on day one came in 3rd place.
