is that when they are going to stock the fish? The day of the event? I figured that they'd stock it a few days before. Thanks for the heads up Fast action rod.

Samuell was slow for me at first but got hot 30 minutes before closing. Catching almost every cast.
I ran into a fight when I foul hook a 4 pound bass with a super duper. It was awesome, my ultralight reel started to scream and I was like "uhh this ain't no trout, this ain't no trout" LOL

I may see you there Brian. I remember what you were telling me about your girls and I think I'm going to take my 30 month old out there and see if she can catch her first fish! I put a rod n reel in her hand yesterday and was trying to teach her how to fish, but it didn't go so well. Cuz as I'm sure you know, all 2-3 year old girls have the attention span of a fruit fly....

Fished Frisco Commons this afternoon. Fish were active with a number of limits taken by fishermen. Managed a limit as well using Powerbait - 4 caught using Orange and 1 caught using Chartreuse! Today's Pictures

limited at Brackenridge yesterday in about an hour.
the cheese heads were doing ok, but the silver superduper with prism tape was knocking them out of the park.
I'm hoping the rain today will keep everybody off them while I'm stuck at work, and hopefully push them down stream into the natural river area. Is the Brackenridge you talking about in San Antonio?

I was down there for vacation this past weekend. Is this creek in the middle of the park running along this big brick wall and the small train crosses it?

I didnt know where down the stream was I guess I should have came on here before I left for San Antonio. I know one thing the water is crystal clear and I seen some fish that looked like Oscars swimming close to the wall compared to the murky waters here in Dallas.
