Ok guys, I'm hoping ya'll might be able to point me in the right direction. I plan on taking my wife fishing for her B-day and was considering either cedar creek or Richland chambers. She enjoys fishing for catfish, so thats what we'll be aiming for. Any advice/suggestions as to which one of these is best to go to and/or good places to stay is much appreciated.. Thanks!!

Fished all over RC Sunday the warmest water I found was 54 degrees. I am sure that after this weeks weather it will be colder. However if you find a cormorant roost fish underneath it with liver it might get you bit.

Both are great lakes, but if the wind is blowing I would stay off Richland Chambers.

Thanks for the info...I forgot to mention that I planned on taking her mid March, so hopefully the weather will be nice by then. I was doing my recon now...Figured it couldnt hurt to start planning instead of my usual, fly by the seat of my pants ideas.

Take a look at the Fisherman's Point Marina link on my website at www.gonefishin.biz . Nice small cabins on RC. The wife will enjoy it! Ask for Cabin # 9 (Coca Cola Cabin) as it's at the rear of the Property, less traffic and a little larger. Good Luck and Good Fishin'!
