From a couple of people I have talked to said HC is cold right now. With all the weather we have had, the fish are still deep and grouped up.

Been the last 2 wednesdays and got 0 bites between me and my grandfather. He lived on the lake for 30 years and I grew up there. Needless to say go somewhere else until the water temps rise a bit. We even fished 35' deep. Oh yeah and it is freakin snowin again.

i lived on the lake all my life, this time o the yr can either be realy good or really terrible, looks like its the latter of the two, apparently my ole man went out there the other day and caught a 6, so idk, gunna go give it a try andget ready for that Tech open tournament.

all else fails go up into the creeks the crappie are biting. That will get your nephew on some fish and hopefully keep him interested in fishing.
