I suppose a person must do so...but it completely goes against the grain for KVD style of prefishing. Spend 10 mins on each spot...and move on.

I just can't see anyone sitting around with their legs kicked up for 2-3 days chillin out....I'd personally loose my mind.

Exactly and it was the second day, Tak had not been there at all during practice or the first day, that would "P" anyone off

definitely violation of the unwritten rule, biffle had a couple of hot sports opinions about it too.

I'm pretty sure it was day 1 Tak was fishing his area....I could be mistaken though. I was watching TAK most of the day.

i understood it as he came in late on day 1. hadnt been in there at all during prefishing. these guys play mental games with each other- so dont rule it out that Tak wasnt playing with KVD's head, trying to rattle him smile

Yep, Biffle definitely called 'em all out. He said the good ole ways of old were gone. A lot of the courtesy and etiquette are gone. I guess that sort of happens when the stakes get higher and higher each year. With that much money on the line, people are focused on doing whatever it takes.

I really enjoyed it when TAK said he didn't care what KVD said...and smiled his BIG SMILE!

It was priceless.

ESPN played it up like it was something on the show Survivor! I bet anything....they pulled that out of them.

Could they possibly even taken it out of context? It's possible!

Agreed......I think ESPN made it more than it was, if it was anything. It's good for the ratings.

ESPN twisted it. Tak went in there on day one. He said he figured KVD would be out of there but didn't realize what an area it was that KVD would stay. He went to the back and back out pretty quick I think. KVD just made the comment no one should be back there on day two. KVD was last boat out on Day 2 so everyone would already be at their spots. The unwritten rule is, if someone is leading a tournament off a spot, you better not be there when he gets there. Just common courtesy, especially since Tak knew where he was. Tak didn't go in there because of that. Tak told KVD he wouldn't go back in there. There was never an issue between the two.

In the interview with KVD he said NOBODY went in there on day one. If someone had gone back there on day 1 he said he would have shared the spot on day 2. Since no anglers went back there on day one he said nobody had any business being back there on day 2. I DVR'd it and will watch it again when I get home, but thats what I got out of it.

ESPN built it up just in case it developed into a story later on, it never went past day 1 drama though.
