If the crappie dont bite...what would you recommend for some catfish. Not looking for monsters, actually looking for the smaller eaters.I was thinking some cut perch if I could manage to catch one.

If you're looking for small eater fish, you might go with some prepared bait like Secret 7 or sureshot. Cut perch, shad and buffalo usually will get you into some bigger fish and usually won't draw as many bites as stinkbaits most of the time.

Fish off the point....There is a light post right by the little shack...They have been catching some good fish out there.

where is this point in comparison to the Barge?

when you walk in, take a left and go out the door. there is a storage shed if you look across the barge pond. it should come to a point with a light post over there. throw towards the tires. im guessing thats what "drifts" is talking about.
