It's confirmed!!! Fish weighed 13.50 and was caught by Robert Robles from Del Rio fishing a jig in 30ft of water. The fish was weighed in at Angler's Lodge and is already on its way to Athens.

Carl over at Angler's Lodge had some awesome perks on hand for the person that weighed in a share a lunker. I think Robert will be enjoying a huge T-Bone steak over there this week along with some other great prizes/gifts.

There was also a 2 day tourney 3 fish limit (per day) bag of 42lbs weighed in this weekend.

The fishing has been pretty awesome down here this past week.
Females are moving up and getting ready. The front on Tues will hold them back slightly but not long.

I think the fish are adapting to the higher water levels and all indications are that it's going to be a great year at Amistad.

See Amistad recent fish pics at swtexasbassguide.com

BTW - If your interested in coming down please drop me a note.
I'am booked the entire month of March but have some days available left in Apr. and openings in May.

See you on the Lake!

A buddy and I will be down there for a week starting March 7. We have a long drive and was just wondering if we were coming at a good time? Does it look like the fishing will be good by the time we get there? Coming from west virginia and looking for a fish of a lifetime. Thanks

Gonna be down there the evening of Feb 25th through March 5th or 6th, depending on the fishing. Looking forward to it! I'm hoping I timed the vacation just right! clap

Got to see the fish at the tank at Carls and it looked to be in great shape. Was definitely a nice healthy looking fish.

Team of Champions runs a great tourney I had a great time.
