I need to try and mount a trolling motor to area in front. I thought about maybe putting a piece of Marine plywood over the seat area and mount the trolling motor to it. I would like to have any Suggestion you might have to offer. I was trying to put pic on but can't figure it out.

The new Pontoon mounts have a pretty small mounting base. Also, I once converted a run-a-bout to a bass boat with raised decks fore & aft and made an "L" bracket from galvanized metal and plywood and just used a hand controlled transome mount troll motor. Wasn't perfect but worked OK.

You might want to look at a MK power drive. If I remember right it had a small mtg. bracket. I just could not get used to steering with the side of my foot rather than the heel toe method.

set that hook!

Go see Joe at Advantage Marine in Sache and see if on of the wireless motor guides will fit there. I've got one on my crestliner and it has a very small mouting bracket

Yeah, those front ends are tough to mount TM's on. No flat surface and you probably don't want to drill into that fiberglass.

I'd recommend taking the boat to a boat mechanic shop/dealer and see if they have a recommendation for you.

got the same problem on my boat and not enough room on back, would rather have mine on front also. Please post a before and after photo when you get yours worked out.
