 BASS PRO's reel is not worth buying.

I bought BASS PRO's reel,namely JM40,made in china. the quality is poor,chinese rubbish.
Feeling a little cheated.

On my opinion I will say, take it back , and buy the Bass Pro Shops Pro Qualifier or the Extreme Baitcast

Buy cheap = get cheap. All brands have this

Shimano. I prefer the Curado but the Citica is good as well.

If your looking for a reel that's under $100, then I would go with either an Extreme or Pro Qualifier. Both will be on sale next month. If your looking to spend a little more then you can pick up a Shimano Curado for $179.

I fished the Carbonlite combo all weekend it was very good! The Carbonlite reel is $119 at BPS.

Take it back...their return policy is great...I have several Extremes I use as back ups now but used all them full time for 5 years when I first started fishing...Shimano's are the best in my opinion but if you don't have a lot to spend the Extreme is hard to beat....
