After last years drought our lake was down to 36% full in the last 3 weeks it has come up to 60% full. The water is just right for the Crappie spawn in the cove. The question is there is now a lot of grass where they normally spawn. Will they still spawn with the grass being there are go somewhere else. That cove is always hot durning the spawn.

The grass will probably make it better if their was no cover before. I always look for either grass or wood during the spawn. Hit the outside edges of it and also the pockets inside of it.
Also is it long grass like weeds? and how deep is the water?

the grass will grow before the spawn.... don't give up on your hot spot... in due time it will be ON and POPPING!!!
