I have had a hummingbird unit on the front of my boat for about 6 months and now out of no where when I turn on my minnkota trolling motor I get interference. I have traced all the wiring and even made all new connections, still cant get the interference out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

More than likely your trolling motor....the ground may have come loose inside the motor housing.

Took the back plate off and everything looks good. It was fine for 6 months and I went out Saturday and had interference only when I turn on the trolling motor.

Call our customer service and they will send you an Interference kit free of charge. Be sure to tell them your setup i.e units and bow or console interference. Also, let them know if this in Side Imaging or down looking interference.

LOL. wish I could have read your post before taking my Minn Kota Maxxum motor apart. I now cannot get the motor to go back together so that I can get the two long bolts restarted. Anyone have this problem before? Thanks
