Barton Springs on a hot day is my favorite swimming hole... laugh

As for fishing, I caught my pb grasser at 1st Street Bridge on LBL, and pb buff at U2 at Emma.

If I was forced to give an answer, I would probably go for the swim just down from the old Power Station on Town......Extremely comfortable, and the scene of the best couple of sessions I have ever had in my life.

I also like the Left Hand side of I35, (big cast out to the 3rd bridge support)

My final choice would be the one just out of the bay on the bottom of the lake, you can cover so much water from there, and if they are in the bay you are in for a Beano of a session! Good depth of water there too!

Karl, don't know if you remember me, but I weighed your 40 at the ATC from under the I-35 bridge a number of years ago. Cheers again!

just keep in mind that you can not fish over night there you have to get a hotel or make a day trip out of it.

Don't let the pictures fool you,,,,,,,Karl and Richard and Zack are all Excellent Anglers, Town can be a tough place to fish..knowledge of watercraft is essential hooked and distance casts are oftentime needed....
