Who is ready for Spring fishing? I can't wait. I hate to admit it but I have only caught a Drum and 1 crappie in a month even in a boat. I am SO ready for the Spring. I never thought I would say this, but I am looking forward to the 100+ degree days in the Summer... the crappie suspended 2 pulls deep on timber and the fish just stacked on brush. Come on Spring!!!

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

You telling me, I work in a freezer facility, so I'm ready for the good ol' Texas heat too. Spring looks like its gonna be a pretty good one if we can get some warmer weather.

Man this is missriable. The most crappie I've came out with this year was only 25, and that was caught between 3 people. Aint been fishing since. So your not the only one looking for those springtime crappie. I'm really looking forward to doing some dockshooting!!

The toughest thing about catching crappie this time of year is the fronts, lake fluctuations and water color. Keep checking your springtime spots because eventually you'll have at least 2 of these 3 challenges in your favor...Then....it's ON!

I'm with you Anthony. I've got the fever bad. I've been busy working in the shop whenever I get the chance. So I hadn't been to worried about my fishing. After going out on the lake with you & hearing that motor run...Well it just got me itching to get on the water. My wife got tired of listening to me talk about boats. She was so happy when I went ahead & purchased a used boat. That way she doesn't have to spend her free time driving around & looking at boats.
So now I can't wait to feel some warm weather beat down on me & just enjoy getting out on the water.
