Had the pleasure of having Kinny and Holly on their first Valentines day together. Trip started out very nice with weather and fish cooperating. Landing several nice blues up to this 13 pounder. Then the front turned and had to cut the trip short. Severl miles from boat ramp with a stump field and 2-4 foot rollers where in our way and needed to get off the lake before they got even worse. Lake Granger is nothing nice with a NE wind! Ended the day with 15 very nice blues and a couple of channels to boot. Thanks again Kinny and Holly is was a real pleasure to share your first Valentines day with ya'll. Lake Granger's water is up and the fishing is getting better and better, have a few dates still open for March and April!

Thanks a lot Spud! Holly and I had a really great time on the trip. We really learned a lot about the lake and how to fill the freezer with blues. I have a few more photos in my email off of Holly's camera that I'll see if I can't get posted when I get back to the house tonight. Thanks again for the trip Spud and for gettin' us back safely out of that nasty storm. Hot shower never felt so good after being drenched head to toe with 48 degree lake water. It was worth it though we had an awesome trip. I'd recommend Spud to anyone who likes to catch fish. He knows catfishin inside and out and he'll put you on em. Thanks again for the trip and we look forward to fishing with you again in the future!
Kinny

welcome aboard killshot nice job spud
Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

Good Job Spud! Looks like I might be headed to Granger until they open some more ramps on Belton.
Did you go up the San Gabriel,I'm not brave enough to try that yet.

Nice going Spud. Glad you all made it back safe and sound. Granger turns into the gulf real quick when the winds kick up.
Keep on fishing.
