Unless you were at the CAT Kickoff Extravaganza you probably don't know this.....but this year at all the Qualifier Tournaments 1st Place in Div I is guaranteed a minimum payout of $1000 and 1st Place in Div II is guaranteed a minimum payout of $500.

We also have Big Fish Sponsors, for Div I - "Big Al's Texas Rubs" - which is $100 for each of the Qualifier Tournaments. The Big Fish Sponsor for Div II - "Finny Tribe" - which is $50 for each of the Qualifer Tournaments.

Division 1 is for pros,guides and people who made more than $1000 the year before in crappie tournaments. Division 2 is more for the people new to crappie fishing and tournament fishing like me.

3. Divisions
a. Each CAT tournament will be made up of two Divisions: Division 1 and
Division 2
b. Any Team may compete in Division 1 in any Tournament
c. The following Teams will be prohibited from competing in Division 2
i. Teams whose members collectively won a total of $1000 or more in
Crappie tournaments the previous year
ii. Teams with a member that is a fishing guide
iii. Any other Team specifically prohibited from competing in a Division
2 Tournament by the Tournament Director, in his/her sole discretion
