Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

Thanks , I am going to Fork on Sunday 21st looking to find information on what the lake conditions are . I have been watching the weather and looks as wet and almost as cold as here in TN. We have fished Fork this will be 3 years so we know a little about the lake . Little is the main word . It is a big Lake. Any update would help . Thanks Ray

I was watching Deadliest catch on TV the other night and thinking it reminded me of Fork last week.

As long as we don't get much more rain the fishing should be better the week you all are here.
This water level up, water level down, water level up, water level down bothers me more than the cold water temps though that stinks too.
We need some continued sunshine for a change.

If your coming, prepare to work hard for few bites. Keep a rattle bait and a rogue tied on and keep them wet. Fish want so bad to come up but this water is so cold. If you can put a bait on ones nose you can get some bites. It will be tough though.

Thanks The information is apperciated . We are in a postion that it would be almost impossible to come at a later date. Hard to get vacation setup and 10 other reasons u know. But any information as the week goes will be apperciated. We stay at Lake Fork Marina. But we will trailer to diffrent ramps to put in. As we have found it safer for us since we do not know the lake well enough to run hard on most of it. Thanks for the information Ray

you should by a boat lanes chip from Lance Vick that will help you. It is not but 20 bucks and it loads the lanes on your GPS Graph. Great tool.

Sure hope so. It's about a 700 mile drive for us.
