What are the dates that sane people avoid coming to Corpus area - Spring Break. Does Corpus area go nuts like South Padre??

I would figure Padre Island gets it too. I wonder, other than prices going nuts if things like the piers get crowded too.

Nah, 99% of them are down there to Party, Bars are loaded, drunks all over the streets, massive parties on the Beach...

Not quite sure about the other 1%...

Maybe not so much after IKE, but Galveston ( in general) really tried NOT to cater to the spring breakers the last several years.
Most ( not the bars) would rather not have them there at all, because it screws up the "family" type business who tend to spend more money and dont cause trouble or tear stuff up. But maybe since Ike, they might have relaxed that attitude a little. I dont know.

Personally, I dont want to be around it, so I dont go in March.

Now, Donald...please pick John Bolton for your running mate.

I will be in Port A for spring break. Usually go every year bc we own a beach house there. The beach isnt that bad during the day, but i wouldnt go down there at night unless you are wanting to party. Bob Hall pier will probably be alittle crowded, but there are other piers around the island that arent as busy. I would take a deep sea charter if i were you. I think we are gonna take one or get a private charter when we go down.

It isn't that bad if you understand what a 'party town' is really like during Spring Break. Sure there will be a lot of the younger crowd but it isn't like what you see on television. All that happens on South Padre. Expect more crowds but nothing crazy.

I've been going to Port A over spring break for many years.
We just avoid going into town and stay away from the north and south ends of Mustang Island on the weekends. Weekdays aren't so bad. Just have to tell any small children to always be on the look out for vehicles when down on the beach.
As far as fishing goes, I wade fish every day and it is no more crowded in the bay than it is during the summer months. At least the spots I fish. Always catch plenty of trout and reds in the bay without nearly as much effort as the summer.

I make it through the day by dreaming of my next trip to Port A.

Crowds can be in parts of Port A, but the good thing is they're not there to fish. If your serious about fishing, you won't have to worry too much.
