As I continue to search for a location of a home its all about the choice of lake.

Which lake would you prefer to call your home lake say 15 minutes from the house?

Thanks for all of the feedback!

If I had the choice, Ray Roberts without a doubt.

Im not a big fan of the metromess, and Ray Hubbard is in the thick of it.

as far as fishing/pleasure boating.. I think EITHER would be a great choice, but better Quality of life (for me) would be AWAY from the big city.

If you like living closer to the city and not having to drive an hour+ to get to events, (sports, music, etc.) choose Hubbard. If you like the country life a bit more, try Roberts. Both lakes can have great fishing. Roberts probably a little better, but also more treacherous to get around.
