 How does the BPS coupon work?

Is this good for 20% off only one item, or is it good for the total purchase at the register? Seems like I have heard that it is only good for a one item purchase. I have only one coupon, and was going to go get a few things before the end of the year, but wanted to make one large purchase if possible and get the discount.

It is only good for one item, and you can only use one coupon per visit. They expire on Dec. 31st.

and, if the item you want is on sale, the coupon does not apply.

DAng I hate that, only one item and one coupon. Man, may have to think about that long drive to bass pro. Hasbeen, does this read better? lol

Went to BPS last week to buy a new pair of boots,only ones i liked were on sale..reg 199.99 on sale 129.99....went to the register boots rang up 99.99 and i pulled out the coupon just to give it a try and she took it...got the boots for 85 and change...they got to be taking a beating with the coupons alone and then i have never been told they would not take the coupon even if the item was on sale

I would love to see how much money was "saved" by the customers this year with the coupon. I know I am going to use one next week for my new fish finder. It's gonna save me $90! $450-20%($90)=$360
Cannot beat that!

Man,
I must look weird or someting. On two different occasions I have bought something on sale (first time I knew it was on sale, the second I did not) and both times the cashier said that if an item was on sale the coupon did not apply.
Anyone else have this issue.
Fish, you work there...whats's the policy?

DONT USE IT ON ANY ITEM AND THEN RETURN THE ITEM...THEY DONT HAVE ANY REPLACEMENT COUPONS. YOU'VE LOST YOUR COUPON THEN.
