Does anyone know what the model # is for lowrance trans. mounted 83/200 skimmer transducer? They shipped me a Hst-WSbl (106-72). I believe this is a 200khz only, not dual freq. My 50/200 was much larger then this one. Dealer says the unit will convert or provide the 83 khz. I don't know how accurate this info is. If anyone has any info on this could you provide the part # for me. Thanks, Bill

There is no mention of any tranducers that are 83/200 khz dual, on LEI extras. Although when you purchase a unit, the specs say 83/200khz. That is where my confusion is.

When the page opens type in dual frequency in the search box at the top, or you can scroll down to the menu below. The unit they sent you is a 200KHZ only unit. You want 106-49 Type that in the search box on LEI extras and it will come up.

thanks, that means even though i can select 83 khz on the hds 10, the transducer only support 200khz. Thats what i thought .

The 106-49 is a 50/200 khz if I remember correctly....you don't need that one....you can use it if you would like to also have the 50khz.
What they told you is correct....the 83khz is achieved via the broadband sounder in the unit and will function with the standard 200khz.

The ducer that came with the unit is 200kHz. The unit converts it to 83kHz if you chose that particular frequency. So yes your dealer is correct on what he told you.

i have tested the unit in my swimming pool last night, & when I change Freq, the screen deffinley changed. Thanks for everyones input. So is this only achieved with HDS? So with my old LCX 27 this would not be possible?

Yes, you'd effectively be able to utilize three frequencies.
