IBB,

There are several good guys that actually guide and there are many who will drive you around in a boat. For a true guide, you can't find any better than JD Lyle. http://www.texomaguide.com

I highly recommend Jeff Bond for Texoma striper. I have fished with him 7 or eight times in the past three years and have limited out every time, once by 8:30 am!

I'd contact either Mark Macnamara or Jeff Lyle. Their links are on www.sixoldgeezers.com.

These guys want you to enjoy your trip for sure and will make it happen.

Personally, I would not want to pay $300 for a trip and be through by 8:30 a.m. That's pretty expensive entertainment. smile smile

JD and Mark will make sure you get the opportunity to fish for something other than "guide fish". smile smile

Yep. JD or Mark. You catch fish and you learn while you do. 'Nuff said.

My 7 year old and I fished with JD for a few hours on friday and we both had a blast.
With permission from the boss I will be booking more trips with JD.

You can't beat JD, particularly when the fishing is tough, he'll work his tail off to put you on the fish. Been with him 4 times, with son twice. All great trips. Flying in to go with him next week, can't wait.

I fished with him a time or two... He does seem to know a little bit about those stripers smile smile

He's on about a 20 day run right now, so probably doesn't have much time or energy for posting reports.

If you're looking to get out with him in the next month or so, better hurry. He's booking some doubles, fishing morning trips, then afternoon trips. The bite's been GOOD!
