I'm heading out to Pool in the morning. We are going to start out fishing for LMB and then try for some sandies. I'm not that familiar with JP for sandies and was wondering if anybody is willing to share some cords. for humps or drop offs. I promised my family and girlfriend that we would bring back some fish for a fish fry during the Cowboy's game. Now that my butt is on the line I would appreciate any help.

I plan on heading out in the morning too, about 10. You might want to try Firemans Hump, a favorite of a lot of fisherman. It is actually a ridge in front of Estes cove that several boats could fish at the same time and not get in each others way. I will be trolling a hell/pet over the hump or trolling with a downrigger. If you see an old gray arrow glass boat, that will be me. Come over and I will point it out.

I have heard of Firemans hump but never knew the location of it. If you see a red and silver champion running all over the lake looking for fish that will be me.
