It's muddy as no other. Be careful.

I would not go there. Lately, there have been people getting tickets for being down there. Also, if it is wet, do not even try it. You will get stuck. Unless you are in a big 4 wheel drive made especially for MUDDING! Once you slip off in there, there ain't no coming back.

As you are going into the bottom, before 1/2 mile before the bridge, you can pull off to the right and park, or go left as if you are going to the dam, and park in the 1st curve, and walk down that old railroad bed. This will keep you from getting a ticket and or stuck.

yeah i would park where wylie is taklking about if you have a coupe. its a big kind of gravel pit on your right, cant miss it. and man, is it hell trying to get out of there when its muddy. thank god for 4x4 and mud terrain tires, even then it took me about 20 minutes getting from the creek back to the road.

thats a really nice cat wylie, is that a channel? and where was it?

Hey is the area by the dam lit up at night? Or Is it pitch black? Thinking about going for a lil bit before the storm hit.

Just got back from there, the dam is lit, the fishing pier and the parking lots are modestly lit. I got skunked, used minnows and the other normal stuff. First time out this year. Good luck all
