i tryed asking about bait no good stuff so what lures should i use in the hill country and how (aka austin)

lbj,granger,gorgetown,lady bird
greenish but clarity is good in all of them
5-10ft

mostly rocky granger and lbj have brush piles in places all but gorge town have docks

Well i have never fished any of them but this time of year with the specifics you have given me I would go find some docks near secondary points and fish shakey heads, small finesse jigs, drop shots(all 3 very light weights), also a jerkbait. If that dosent work go find some brushpiles on main lake points or secondarys and throw the same baits there. If that fails go fish rock bluffs with wide wobble crankbaits, light white tubes, drop shot shakey heads and jerk baits
