Has anyone been to the creeks at Somerville lately? Is the run still on? How's the water quality?

Was thinking of running up there this Saturday. Thanks in advance for any info.

Please let us know. I plan on fishing the main lake on thursday (the 25th). Haven't been out there in a couple of years. But figured it was a good place to go catch some fish and do some camping.

Fished yesterday instead.Couldn't find the whites.
Tried Rocky & Pecan humps nada...The gulls were
working over shad, but no fish under them. Was using minnows & lures.Toward the end of the day I trolled around welch park in 12to16ft of water and pick up a few,(males). It was raining and the
wind was blowin out of the southeast better than
15mph.Will try again in 2-weeks

I ususally try to fish the banks starting about daylight. starting this time of year I throw my cast net as soon as the shad come in and fish them off the bottom and do pretty well. just bought a boat and will try and learn how to catch them out in the lake during the middle of the day.

Many men go fishing their entire lives without knowing it is not fish they are after.
