There is no numbers next to the champion decal like most, the title does not say on it either. It is a 1990 champion it is 18' 11" long black and gold, gold inlay in cap and 4 gold pinstripes around side it is rated for 2oo horses and it is on a dual axle trailer.

I would try bassboatcentral.com and go to the Champion owners forum. If they don`t know,i would call Boat insurance rep.

I don't think they made a 190 in 1990. Here are the boats that NADA shows for that year. 168 SCV(*) - 16' 176 DCR(*) - 17' 176 F/S(*) - 17' 176 SC F/S(*) - 17' 176 SCV(*) - 17' 184 DCR(*) - 18' 184 F/S(*) - 18' 184 SC F/S(*) - 18' 184 SCDCB(*) - 18' 184 SCR(*) - 18' 184 SCV(*) - 18' 184 SS F/S(*) - 18' 201 DCR(*) - 20' 201 F/S(*) - 20' 201 SC F/S(*) - 20' 201 SCDCB(*) - 20' 201 SCN(*) - 20' 201 SCR(*) - 20' MEAN 15(*) - 15' http://www.nadaguides.com/default.aspx?L...y=1990&ml=C

I would think the model would be in the serial number. If you can not figure it out then call Champion and give them the serial number they will be able to tell you

err, nobody to call now, champ is in limbo.
The serial number would give all the info, last two are year model, then the letter before is month of manufacture, then there is a model before that, just can't remember.
What he has is a late 1990 model 190, it came out after the official 1990 model year started, first ones were let go in Jan of 1990 for the Houston boat show.
