I was thinking about trying that area, are you wading or floating. I was thinking about floating the area in front of the tree line that is south of the airplane field. I have done well there in the past but would like even better to be able to paddle to the mouth of richardson slough, as the birds have been working thick and I have seen a few schools come to surface every so often. There is not any wind right now and I wouldnt mind getting out. Anyone free today to put a canoe in? If not, I will probably end up fishing near richardson slough after I try the point again. If no luck there, I will probably lay low and not fish till next week. I have been cleaning house and I am finding lots of things I need to get rid. It will slow my fishing for a few days but then things will get back to normal. If you get out later Ben, hit me up. I live close to the lake, very close and am always down to get a little fishing in. Good luck guys and keep the reports coming. Longhorn still stinks as of now

Wish I could make it, but I'm stuck at work. If it's not raining, I may try in the morning.

Of course, that building downtown in being blown up at 8:00, so I'd like to see that too. popcorn

Does any one know if all this rain has filled the lake back up yet? I would think so but I haven't made the drive to see for myself yet.

Yes it was a yellow bass--I had never even heard of such a critter but someone mentioned it and I look it up on the web and thats is. All the ones we caught were really small 4 to 5 inches.

Ensignjason, There is such thing as a yellow/white cross also. Heard about it here on the forum. Seems to be pretty common in lake fork but I could swear I caught some at Tawakoni too. The hybrid actually gets bigger than either species. IF yo ever get a HUGE white with a yellow tinge it might be one.
